During the months of May and early June , Dignity International Executive Director Jerald Joseph had the opportunity to touch base with our Dignity partners who have singed up for our 20 month programme of "Train-Up Trainers" (TUT) . September 2009 saw 17 of Dignity's alumni, from all our previous human rights trainings, who are trainers and potential trainers were invited back to Spain for a one-week programme of Training of Trainers (TOT). IT was a fun and rigorous learning of skills on human rights training methodologies. As agreed all trainers would have have to conduct/be part of a series of human rights trainings in the 20 month period. Each are expected to do two national trainings, and one regional or global training as part of their application process of the TUT.

In meeting up some of the team members, there was still a lot of excitement and energy to ensure that this process is completed fully. Jerald Joseph met up with trainers in Ireland, Johannesburg and Nairobi. With Nayana as coordinator, the TUT will definitely be very alive form now on.
